A small, hand-vetted bench — on purpose.
Railsmith isn't a marketplace with a matching algorithm. It's a person who reads Rails code, and a small roster he'd stake his name on.
Fábio Araújo, founder
Rails engineer in Recife, Brazil. I built Railsmith because a generalist marketplace can't tell a Hotwire-native senior from a résumé that says "Ruby". Every engineer is reviewed by senior Rails people. If you want a shortlist, you talk to us — not a matcher.
How vetting actually works
We don't run algorithm puzzles or multi-stack quizzes. Every candidate spends real time inside a real Rails app, reviewed by senior Rails people, looking for the things a résumé can't show — how they read unfamiliar code, their ActiveRecord instincts, whether their tests survive a refactor, and whether they communicate clearly in English.
