Who we are
Railsmith places senior Ruby on Rails engineers with US and EU teams. Questions about your data: hello@railsmith.dev.
What we collect
- When you request a shortlist: your name, work email, company, team time zone, the role, engagement preference, overlap need, and anything you type in the notes.
- When you create a client account: the above plus your account credentials, and the operational data you enter (requests, timesheets, invoices).
- Analytics: Google Analytics, only after you accept the cookie banner. Decline and no analytics cookie is set.
Why we collect it
To respond to your request, curate a shortlist, run an engagement you start with us, and understand which pages help buyers. We do not sell your data or share it beyond what's needed to deliver the service.
Engineer privacy
Candidate profiles on a shortlist are anonymized by design. You see personal details only when an engagement requires it.
Retention & deletion
We keep lead data while it's useful to follow up, and account data for the life of the engagement plus what tax and accounting rules require. To have your lead data deleted, email hello@railsmith.dev and we'll remove it.
